General Installation Reference Use the provided hex key to turn the pin so that the pin does not pierce the pipe.Remove the three bolts.Align the two parts of the valve with the appropriate position at the pipe and insert the insert. If the tube is 3/8" (bvp-31) or 5/8" (bvp-21), no insertion is required.Insert the bolts and tighten evenly with a hex key.Turn the pin in the opposite direction to pierce the pipe.
